The resort has 60 air-conditioned rooms, each with a private balcony overlooking the beach or the garden. The rooms are furnished with carved wood beds, tile floors, and small seating areas. The rooms have double beds and en-suite baths. There are room safes and telephones in each unit. Hair dryers will help you look your best, while tea and coffee making facilities ensure a pleasant morning.

The rooms have televisions for your entertainment.
Mosquito nets are offered upon request.

The resort is “all-inclusive.” The Mnazi Restaurant serves a buffet breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with varying menus.

Drinks range from fresh juices to wine. The Mawimbi Deck has Swahili furnishings and provides a place to relax and enjoy afternoon tea or a cappuccino.

There is also a shisha corner for smoking hookah pipes. You can enjoy a drink at the Kisiwa Bar or the Pool Bar.


Relax in the freshwater swimming pool complete with its own island, or rent a bicycle to explore. There are two tennis courts, or you can try diving, deep sea fishing, archery, volleyball, or wind surfing, among other sports. If a quieter afternoon is in order, borrow a book from the hotel library to read on the beach, or lounge on the tented carved wood couches.

The hotel also offers various entertainment options, ranging from fashion shows to African folk dance. The business centre offers standard services as well as secretarial services. The unisex beauty salon offers massages and beauty services, or you can get your hair braided in a traditional or modern African style. The hotel boutique sells souvenirs, and the hotel also organizes a traditional African market each week.

There is a children’s club to entertain younger visitors. There are laundry and dry cleaning services, taxis, and a doctor on call.
